Currently, the amount of Spotify Free tier users is growing faster than their subscriber base, thus monetizing the Spotify Free tier through advertising is increasingly important for the company. To increase its share of global advertising spending, Spotify continuously needs to quantify the true impact of advertisers’ messaging on Spotify Free and prove that advertising on its platform drives brand lift across devices, ad formats, and markets.
To meet the growing need to monetize the Free tier, we set up custom ad tracking inside the Spotify Free app across all versions and devices in 29 countries across the globe. Through this, we execute Advertising Experience studies using our technology. With our brand lift studies and creative performance analysis, we help Spotify verify campaign performance for their advertising customers.
Our comprehensive study reports provide Spotify with a wide range of insight, from brand image impact to the campaign creative evaluation, ad recall, and call to action. We have customized an easy, flexible, and clear operating model for Finnkino’s needs. We invite cinema-goers to participate in research straight from the online store (ticket buying platform). Sanoma wants to offer advertisers real and reliable data about their ad campaign effectiveness in the actual media environment at the time of consumption.
We have created an efficient and flexible research model for Sanoma’s needs to measure online campaigns. With our customized research tool, we are able to find media users who have been exposed to the advertising campaign. In addition, we collect a control sample of non-exposed respondents. By comparing the two collected samples, we can demonstrate the brand lift generated by the advertising campaign. We use a pop-up invitation that bypasses ad blockers, and we are able to measure standard and rich media creatives as well as native advertising.
